Artist Statement

I work with paper, cloth, thread, ink, and plants to explore the relationship between material and inner experience. My bookbinding practice moves between precision and structure, and more intuitive, open-ended ways of working.

My work comes from listening and close attention. It holds space for different emotional states and the ways we move through them, without rushing toward resolution.

I’m interested in creating small moments of pause. A place where someone can step out of their usual pace, slow down, and meet something quiet and essential in themselves.
